What's wrong with today's young people (yes, even 26 year-old Paris Hilton is young)? I'll tell you - parents like Kathy Hilton who excuse their kids from any shred of responsibility for bad behavior.
Paris was sentenced today to 45 days in jail for driving intoxicated with a suspended license. During the court hearing, Kathy Hilton was heard scoffing with a sarcastic, smug laugh at the judge. And, of course, after the proceedings, she wiped Paris clean of any wrongdoing and put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the law.
Paris is the Daily Dingleberry because she is does what she wants, when she wants with no regard. But her mother wears the crown of Hilton dingleberriness because it is her inept mothering that has funneled Paris down the path of spoon-fed, irresponsible, weak resistance.
Sadly, it's not just a "celebrity" mom like Kathy Hilton. You see these parents all the time. Their children do no wrong. And in siding with them all the time, they create little brats that turn into adult monsters that reek havoc on society.
